The main determinants of the spatial shape of the adopted solution was the tradition of the local construction industry and the specific spatial conditions at the actual site, i.e. the architecture of the surrounding buildings, its scale and climate as well as the building conservation guidelines. The adopted architectural solution was an effect of the assumption that it should be characteristic for contemporary times and, at the same time, treat with respect the conditions resulting from the specifics of the place.

The preparation of the design was preceded by a thorough analysis of the history of the local architecture as well as an analysis of the land topography and landscape conditions.

A traditional outline of the building with a gable roof and a buttress of the entrance wall that is characteristic for Kazimierz Dolny. The plot was partially enclosed with a limestone wall and partially with openwork, span facing made from steel interlaced with wicker. A carport abuts the fencing. The building is situated in the way ensuring the maximum preservation of the greenery on the plot – it was positioned among the existing trees, perpendicular to the slope contours, in order to facilitate the natural runoff of water from the upper terraces of the plot.

The external load bearing walls, built entirely with stone, were strengthened with reinforced-concrete pilasters, the floor’s ceiling is made from wood and the construction of the roof covered with roofing tiles in the monk-nun configuration is made of wood with steel ties. Wind bracing is ensured by the reinforced concrete mezzanine floor resting on the external walls and the internal reinforced concrete wall, tied to the reinforced concrete retaining walls positioned from the side of the slope. A framework, steel load-bearing structure was used in the south-east corner of the building.
